Climate: The Bahamas benefit from excellent weather conditions all year round; with temperatures averaging of 20/26° Celsius or 80/85° degrees Fahrenheit, with a slight breeze in the evening. Climates on individual islands vary. See suggested attire below.
Packing Tips... Keep the following items in mind when packing:
• sunscreen
• sunglasses (and spare eyeglasses, if needed)
• camera and extra film or memory card
• insect repellant
• travel alarm clock (not provided in staterooms)
• A backpack is a great way to carry shore excursion needs
• Remember: hair dryers are provided in the staterooms
• *Sea sickness medicine, if needed
Keep traveler's checks, credit cards, prescription medicines, a spare set of glasses or contact lenses and your travel documents in your carry-on bags. You may want to note your credit card numbers and keep them in a separate place. Be sure you have enough prescription medicine to last your entire trip. Keep a card in your wallet listing your doctor's name, address and telephone number.
Whether on deck or in port! Rubber soled shoes allow for better traction on deck in misty weather. Comfortable shoes are a must.
We’ll be in the tropics… a light sweater, windbreaker, jacket or raincoat may be desired for breezy evenings on deck and/or in the air conditioning.
Very different from daytime attire, evening dress falls into three separate categories:
Daily programs will be delivered to your stateroom announcing the suggested dress for the evenings. A breakdown is featured below.
On casual evenings cruise casual, comfortable clothing is fine, sport shirts, slacks for men; pant suites, dresses or slacks and a blouse for the ladies. However tank tops, swimwear, T-shirts, jeans and shorts are not allowed in the dining room after 6:00 pm.
During Caribbean/pirate night guests can dress in their best Caribbean / pirate attire.
Formal nights – dark suite for men and cocktails dresses for ladies are required.
